The hotel's rooms were not worth the almost $200 per night with a musty smell initially, but after changing rooms, there was still a strong cleaning odor and a dirty shower. The older-style rooms had wall thermostat control.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of pros and cons. The rooms were warm and had a moldy smell, located near an exit door that only opened sometimes when entering the building, giving me college dorm flashbacks due to their basic and small size. However, the service provided was welcoming and informative, although they put back the same sandy sheets and lacked a fridge or microwave during my three-night stay. The location was decent for exploring the beaches around Ormund and Daytona, but not ideal for the Orlando area. The dining experience offered a variety of choices, although the lack of TV for 24 hours without compensation was a downside.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable despite some minor sink and light issues, and there was a warm but moldy smell in the room. The service was a bit problematic with issues during check-out, but the staff tried to assist. The location was convenient for my needs, although it was a bit dirty with weeds around. The dining experience was fine, but the timing of breakfast didn't suit me. Overall, the stay was decent with some room for improvement.
